New research from the British Medical Journal reveals a significant link between frequent French fry consumption and an increased risk of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). While baked, boiled, or mashed potatoes showed no such link, three weekly servings of French fries increased T2D risk by 20%. Substituting whole grains or vegetables significantly reduced this risk.
